What is the best intermediate kayaking river closest to Dallas Texas?
Me and my friends/family have been Kayaking a couple of times in a class 2 river and we want to find something a little more challenging (not too dangerous).
I have been looking at rivers close to north Texas and can only find a couple of decent ones with good rapids. I need advice on a good river with a steady flow and a decent amount of rapids.
We want to be on the river for close to 3-5 hours.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated !!

How fast do you drive? The only places I have heard of are in eastern Oklahoma and Arkansas and then you would have to check water conditions. Seems to me you need to talk to Outdoor equipment suppliers for information sources.
