We Got A Great Deal On Two Used Kayaks
We got both a used Old Town Loon III , a Dimension Typhoon, 3 life vests, 2 wet suits, three sets of snap together wood paddles, and a bungee cord to tie it all down with for 300.00. I almost felt bad for taking such a deal. (We are not in anyway promoting these products nor are we getting paid by these companies. We are just telling about a good deal.)

What do you like better? The kayak or the canoe? Although if I was looking at kayaks I’d want a closed one. I’m starting to get interested in them. Do you use a trailer? I really don’t want one and I have a regular bed pickup. I just don’t know if it’s safe to have a canoe/kayak hanging out the back and how secure it will be.

@HeroesofApostasy Hey ! Kayak is much easier paddling in the wind. I have the 8ft one I now use all the time when I go by myself to small lakes and steams where I have to maneuver around stumps and rocks. I use the straight paddles which helped a lot with the tracking. it is light and I can load it myself. the longer ones we take on the larger lakes and on the river. I have the bed extender. It make it easier. see Mrs Wayman in my Vertex video. We found that the paddles were the issue.
