I was born and raised in WA and 3 years ago moved back from LA. If you are an outdoors kind of person you will never be at a loss for things to do. It does rain but not nearly as much as people want you to think, that being said there are a lot of cloudy grey days. All in all WA is a great place to live, and no shortage of things to do, people are pretty laid back. I hope you had a chance to go to pike place market and the shops on the piers!
