@eyething1 ;

Should not be a problem, I use it with a Ocean Kayak Trident 15 loaded down. With all my gear it is pushing 90 lbs

hey love the design!!!
what do you do with your bike once you get to the river??? i'm trying to find a way to rig my bike up to my kayak. i've thought about having a small raft with a tarp tied to the back of my kayak... but i'm thinking there's a better way...?

Thanks for this. I gave my 19 year old son my canoe last week, and today we built a cart for it using your design. We made it bigger, the cross-braces being 251/2" including insertion depth.

I was a little concerned it might not be strong enough, that the weight of the canoe would push the top apart. So just above the bottom 45's we put in 6" pieces below the T's for the cross-braces, to bring strength up higher.

It came out great, and now my son can walk his boat to the lake.

So Cool.
